In 2007 Paul Fisher was recognized for his years of distinguished service in Arts and Education, by The Arizona Daily Star and The Tucson/Pima Arts Council with the “Lumie” Award.
In 2003 he was recognized by the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona as the recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Arts Award for outstanding contributions to arts in the community through education, organization and advocacy.

Over the past 40 years, Mr. Fisher has created hundreds of performances in schools in the USA, Europe, Africa and Russia. He specializes in arts-integration performances based on content the classroom provides. He creates improvisational comedy, and stages performances of plays.
He also writes plays with classes of elementary, middle school and high school students.

Mr. Fisher is a performing and voice artist, and a Disc Jockey: in 2011, he performed the role of “Wedding Photographer” in a motion picture directed by Lee Daniels. He has performed with Monolog Cabin and Artifact. He performed “Los Disparates”, an audio-visual performance work for about Goya for The University of Arizona, Museum of Art, “Restoring the Balance” at The Muse, and has acted and directed for the Invisible Theatre. He has also been a regular performer with OTO Dance and Chamber Music Plus Southwest.
